Our speakers will compare the entrepreneurial ecosystems in the UK and India and will focus on the following issues:
• What are the defining characteristics of the entrepreneurial ecosystems in the UK as compared to those in India?
• What are the new innovations taking place in the entrepreneurial ecosystems in each country?
• What are the obstacles preventing the development of India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem?
• What are the innovations/solutions required to overcome these challenges?
• What is the best environment required to nurture a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem for example, an education system that promotes entrepreneurship from an early age, availability of true seed capital and mentors?
• What key factors need to be in place to develop an unique Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem that capitalises on its strengths and tackles its inclusive growth agenda?
• The UK is known for its superior innovation capabilities—how can these be leveraged to work collaboratively to enhance the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem?
• How can the UK and India work in partnership to stay ahead of the fast moving innovation curve and help each others’ economies?
“India today stands on a unique cusp of history where one of the world’s youngest populations is transforming a scarcity driven mindset into an aggressive can do attitude. The billion problems of India provide a fertile environment for innovations which can benefit society in India and elsewhere.” Rajdeep Sahrawat – Vice President of NASSCOM
