Abstract
To each contact structure on a 3-manifold, one can associate a number of invariants, which means objects or properties depending only on its deformation class. This includes qualitative information (e.g. tightness or fillability), numbers (e.g. Giroux torsion), or algebraic objects (related to various flavors of Heegaard-Floer or contact homology). In this talk, I will review some of these invariants, explain what they are good for and explain some old and new relations between them.
