Abstract
Peter Friend has recently finished work on New Naturalist books on Southern England and on Scotland, using a distinctive approach indicated by the subtitles ”Looking at Natural Landscapes” that he has used in both cases. In his talk he will illustrate how landscape history has given East Anglia its special character. It will be possible to look at copies of both books at the meeting and signed copies can be ordered, at reduced prices.
