Abstract
Abstract: Dynamic figures such as the “spinning dancer” contain no cues to suggest a particular direction of rotation, yet observers consistently report unambiguous clockwise or anticlockwise motion. We have found reliable individual differences in directional biases for this type of stimulus. In this talk, I will describe the results of a genome-wide association study (GWAS) of such visual biases, offering a preliminary insight into their genetic basis.
