Italian schools have been under pressure in recent years to develop stronger approaches to school evaluation. In this seminar, Dr. Valentina Grion from the University of Padua will describe some of the initiatives that have taken place in Italy in response to pressure from European reforms. She will consider some of their strengths and weaknesses and outline some of the ways in which current strategic initiatives might be improved.

This seminar will provide some fascinating insights into the ways in which different European countries have tackled the problems of evaluating schools.
