Levantine Iberian script: linguistic and epigraphic contacts in northern Spain and southern Gaul during the second Iron age

Abstract
Levantine script is one of the Palaeohispanic scripts in use in the Iberian Peninsula between the Vth to the Ist century BC which have the widest area of diffusion. It’s attested from the Pais Valenciano, in Spain, to the Gulf of Lion shore, in Southern Gaul. The greatest part of this epigraphic documentation is belonging marks. The onomastic panorama shows a multicultural landscape and a great complexity of linguistic contacts, mostly between Celts and Iberians. The aim of this communication will be to specify the nature of these contacts and how did the local populations use writing in these occasions.
