Abstract
Abstract: The development of organic and bio-compatible materials and devices requires a better understanding of their structure, micro- and macroscopic properties. The aim of this talk is to demonstrate the advantages of IR optical methods for investigation of structural, charge, and energy dynamics in molecular systems. I will outline the opportunities which IR radiation provides for a low-perturbative control of organic materials/nanodevices and discuss how such experiments can help linking microscopic and macroscopic understandings of nanosystems.
