Abstract
OPPF -UK was established in 2002 with funding from the MRC and renewed in 2005 and 2008 with support from the MRC and BBSRC . OPPF-UK is located adjacent to Diamond Light source in the Research Complex at Harwell, this is a multi-disciplinary research βhotelβ managed by the MRC on behalf of the UK research councils. Our remit is to apply high-throughput cloning and expression screening technologies to the production of proteins in E.coli, insect and mammalian cells. While the proteins produced are largely used for crystallisation we also purify proteins for antibody production and functional studies. In this talk I will illustrate the application of our technologies to a diverse range of projects.
Series This talk is part of the Experimental and Computational Aspects of Structural Biology and Applications to Drug Discovery series.
