The Largest Catalog of 3-D Parameters of Disc Galaxies

Abstract
I present a complete catalog of disc galaxies automatically selected from the SDSS . This sample contains about 6000 objects and exhibits the largest modern collection of true edge-on disc galaxies. The sample galaxies are used to determine the structural parameters of their discs and bulges using multi-dimensional component modelling. I report on the results of this investigation, including the properties of thick discs, dust distribution, and haloes.
