Abstract
An informal discussion hosted by Prof David MacKay and Dr Sibel Ozcan. Dr Ozcan is part of the Quantum Matter group at the Cavendish and was head of research at Camfridge.
Abstract: Camfridge is a University spin-out company, with close links to the Department of Material Science and the Cavendish Laboratory, developing energy-efficient and gas-free magnetic cooling technology. The market focus and key drivers for the technology will be outlined in the presentation and the challenges and opportunities when working with a start-up will be discussed.
