Abstract
Bio: Bristol PhD in Palaeoclimate and Palaeoceangraphy 2013. Postdoctoral Researcher at UCL 2012 -2013, transferred to Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford Summer 2013-present.
My research largely focuses on applying both organic and inorganic geochemical techniques in order to reconstruct palaeotemperatures, palaeoenvironments and palaeoceanographic conditions for warmer climates of the past. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher on the NERC -funded PALEOPOLAR project using organic geochemical methods, in particular the reconstruction of soil temperatures, to investigate the Late Cretaceous to early Paleogene climate of Seymour Island, Antarctica.
