Abstract
Carolyn Summerbell is Professor in the School of Medicine & Health and Principal of John Snow College.
Carolyn has co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed research papers (including Cochrane reviews), and is regularly invited to give key note addresses at international conferences. She is on the Editorial Board for the International Journal of Obesity, Honorary Secretary of the Nutrition Society, and Chair of the Association for the Study of Obesity. She is a regular advisor to WHO , and is currently leading the designation of a new WHO Collaborating Centre for Nutrition (to be approved later this year)
