Please note: This CEDAR/MRC Epidemiology Diet Seminar is held on a Thursday, not the usual Wednesday.

Janas is Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology & Public Health, UCC , and co-ordinator of the Health Promotion Pathway on the Masters in Public Health (MPH). Her research is focused on Nutrition Epidemiology and is anchored in the HRB Centre for Diet and Health Research. Janas’ research interests are nutritional and lifestyle epidemiology and public health nutrition; specifically, the nutritional and environmental determinants of obesity and physical inactivity as risk factors for CVD . She also has a keen interest in food and nutrition inequalities and food poverty.
