Abstract
X-ray computed microtomography has become widely spread in Geoscience studies because it is the only high-resolution, non-destructive technique that allows visualisation, reconstruction and processing of geomaterials directly in 3D. In this presentation I will provide examples of the most recent applications of this technique to Geoscience topics, focussing especially on volcanological and petrological issues.
