Testing Face Perception

Although the field of face perception is advancing rapidly, any experimental results are only as good as the experiment itself. We have developed a new online test of face perception that is quick, balanced, and easy to administer, and will thus stand as a sound experiment for the testing of a broad range of hypotheses. This talk will give a short introduction to the field of face perception, and then discuss the many steps in – and considerations regarding – the development of a new psychophysical test.
