Dr Brenton is a Senior Research Group Leader at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute and is currently an important figure in the field of Ovarian Cancer with a major research interest of identification of molecular mechanisms of treatment resistance in ovarian cancer. We are delighted that he is going to give a talk on heterogeneity within individual ovarian tumours, and the implications of this for treatment, a subject that should help to show the importance of studying the genetics of cancer to medics of all year groups.
