Enhancing the impact of the Department's Research - so how does the Department's Fourth Theme work

Abstract
The coming IfM buns talk will be on the next Friday, 4th July. Charles Boulton is going to introduce the engineering department’s Fourth Cross-Divisional Research Theme.
Charles Boulton is the themeโs manager in the department and also working in IfM. He will describe how and why the theme came into being, the three core activities within the theme and will share some thoughts about where the theme has had the most effect. Heโll also describe how the theme interacts with the newly appointed Knowledge Transfer Facilitators and the links to other Departments and speculate on where the theme could go next.
The theme offers resources and pragmatic help to people wanting to increase the impact of their research, to develop their industrial collaboration and to generally increase their skills and experience in the area โ so come along and find out about the theme activities and how Charles might be able to help you.
