Abstract
For the first time we have obtained clear signals of resonances in coupled-channel meson-meson scattering from lattice QCD . We extract a precise spectrum of energy levels relevant to pion-kaon and eta-kaon scattering with isospin-1/2, from lattices with three volumes and several moving frames. By using the Luescher method and recent generalisations, these finite-volume energy levels are related to the infinite volume coupled-channel scattering amplitudes that clearly describe S, P and D wave resonances. In S-wave we find a broad resonance coupling dominantly to the pion-kaon channel and a narrow resonance in D-wave.
