Abstract
David’s group has had a long-standing collaboration with Rick Young’s lab at the Whitehead Institute and this has resulted in many seminal papers.
Abstract:
Understanding how transcription factors and chromatin modifiers regulate gene expression is a central problem in biology. A new computational approach, Joint Binding Deconvolution, permits the location of protein-genome binding events to be determined at high spatial resolution from chromatin immunoprecipitation experiments (ChIP-Chip). We have combined ChIP-Chip data with expression data and genome sequence to reveal regulatory networks in yeast and components of the core network that regulates pluripotency in human embryonic stem cells.
