Abstract
Helen’s research interest focuses on behavioural epidemiology, particularly in relation to children’s physical activity. She has a focus on mediators of physical activity behaviour change and the development and refinement of intervention strategies, which aim to promote increased physical activity and reduced sedentary behaviours among children. In addition, she maintains an interest in the evaluation of health promotion and related programs and activities. Helen also has a research interest in sport coaching, particularly the behavioural aspects of coaching and the mentoring process.
