Abstract
In this presentation I will summarise some interesting and technically demanding projects that I have been involved with while working for Frazer-Nash Consultancy. This will include discussion of cutting edge industry techniques. In particular, the presentation will focus on the assessment undertaken to justify the integrity of a large FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) in the North Sea. This project involved a cross-disciplinary team of engineers to undertake a hydrodynamic and structural analysis of the vessel.
