Abstract
Sir John Walker discovered the mechanism of ATP synthesis for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, in 1997, and continues to be a major contributor to the understanding of the structure of ATP synthetase. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a former director of the MRC Mitochondrial Biology Unit.
Everyone is welcome. Free for members, ÂŖ2 on the door for non-members. Followed by refreshments (that means smoothies, cheese and grapes!).
