Elevator Pitch Practice session
- 👤 Speaker: -
- 📅 Date & Time: Friday 28 November 2014, 12:00 - 14:00
- 📍 Venue: Cambridge University Engineering Department, Board Room
Abstract
The elevator pitch is important because it enables you to communicate quickly and effectively and preparing one ensures that you are absolutely clear about what you’re offering, why it’s valuable and what you want next.
On Friday 28 November, between 12:00 and 14:00 we are holding a session to allow people to rehearse their elevator pitches and receive advice from the Visiting Professors of Innovation (http://engineerimpact.wordpress.com/raeng-visiting-professors-of-innovation/). We’ll use the same format that worked so well during the recent ‘Sales for researchers’ course.
If you’d like to come along, either to pitch or to observe, then please contact Jo Griffiths (jg393@cam.ac.uk). There are a limited number of slots for pitches so if you want to pitch do please let Jo know soon.
The session will be held in the CUED Board Room and lunch will be available from 12:00 – let Jo know if you have any dietary requirements.
