Abstract
VetCompass (www.rvc.ac.uk/vetcompass) is the collaborative project based at the Royal Veterinary College that shares and analyses de-identified veterinary electronic patient records (EPR) from participating practices in order to understand more clearly the major disorders affecting small animals in practice and to benefit companion animal welfare in general. Currently over 300 practices take part in VetCompass, contributing ongoing clinical records from over 1.5 million animals. This seminar will highlight the work of VetCompass within the clinical example of canine degenerative mitral valve disease.
