Abstract
There have been some recent anomalies in semileptonic B decays measured by LHCb. These seem to hint at new physics coupling to muons. I will describe a possible explanation of these results via a composite Higgs model with an additional light leptoquark, with couplings largely determined by the paradigm of partial compositeness. I will point out a few predictions of the leptoquark’s effects in other flavour observables, some of which should be testable soon. It should have a mass of around a TeV, meaning that the new run of the LHC should provide further strong bounds.
