Abstract
We know how to construct theories of massive spin-0 and spin-1 fields, but what about spin-2? Come find out!
I will discuss the fascinating and winding history of massive gravity, from the development of the linear theory in 1939, through the pitfalls that arise at higher orders, to the development of the full nonlinear theory only in 2010.
