Abstract
Do you work in a scientific company but don’t have a scientific background? Are you interested in learning more about how scientists are trained to think, how scientific ideas are developed and shared, and what constitutes ‘good science’?
If so, the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education would like to invite you to an evening talk, ‘Thinking Like a Scientist’, as a taster for a new course exploring scientific culture and practice for non-specialists.
The talk will be given by Dr Nicola Humphry-Baker, Course Director of the Undergraduate Certificate in Physical Sciences at the Institute. It will be held at stunning 16th-century Madingley Hall, near Cambridge.

- Starts: Refreshments from 6:30pm followed by talk at 7.00pm
