Abstract
Short and long grafted chains exhibit microphase separation, a phenomenon in which microdomains of each species forms. This is seen on length scales ranging from nanocrystal ligands to polymer brushes. I will present computer simulation results showing that surface curvature controls the resulting micropatterns, and will give a rief overview of polymer brush theory to support our findings. If time allows, I will talk about depletion forces in active materials.
