Towards measuring decoherence times of Undoped GaAs/AlGaAs spin qubit (SP Workshop)

Abstract
In this workshop I will discuss the prospects of induced double quantum dots to improve the relaxation and coherence time of electron spin qubit compared to the current record in doped GaAs heterostructures. The absence of intentional dopants is expected not only to decrease the number of small angle scattering events, (which is observed as an increase in mobility and the fact that lower carrier densities may be achieved), but it also is expected to reduce RTS (Random Telegraph Signals) noise which would be beneficial for more accurate current measurements. I will present the progress towards making an undoped quantum dots, getting to the last electron, as well as the challenges of using fast measurement techniques – radio frequency reflectometry.
