Abstract
In this presentation Linda will give an overview of material for a forthcoming book by the same name. The book and the presentation talk about visions and goals for creating a more peaceful society and world, and non-violent means for creating this social–political change, including community peace wheels. She will present findings from a peacebuilding process in Los Angeles/Southern California, which brought together different sectors of the local community to engage with a twelve-sector community peace wheel. Events included: a Peace Convergence process; a monthly Culture of Peace Educational Series; a Culture of Peace Recognition Celebration; an edited book; and important peace awards, declarations, and actions.
