The tomb of Djehutinakht (I?) was excavated at Dayr al-Barsha in 2012. Although the tomb had evidently been robbed and the wood had suffered much, painstaking efforts at reconstructing the remains make it possible to reconstruct not only the funerary assemblage with which the deceased was accompanied, but also to reconstruct the ritual sequence of the burial. Moreover, it even seems possible to link the composition of the archaeological remains to specific ritual texts. Web site https://sites.google.com/site/budgesymposium/keynote-lecture
