Abstract
Many opportunities and challenges faced by todayβs society cannot be addressed by a single discipline or specialisation alone. Instead, they demand collaborations across different disciplines. The phenomenon of enquiry-based interdisciplinary learning often occurs in such cross-collaborations.
His bun-talk is going to introduce an exploration about the phenomenon of enquiry-based interdisciplinary learning in engineering practice. These findings seek to explain how practising engineers learn knowledge related to the life sciences in collaborative projects. The explanation of their learning practices has important implications for engineering education.
Series This talk is part of the Manufacturing Research Forum series.
