Abstract
Dr Ken Bruce is a World-leader in respiratory microbiome analysis, and has a particular interest in understanding better the microbial community structures and dynamics in the airways of patients with cystic fibrosis. In this talk, Ken will show how a better understanding of the microbial community can potentially lead to improved clinical outcomes for patients with chronic airway infections. The talk should be of interest to anyone interested in microbiology, evolution, ecology and respiratory infections.
