Gravitational lensing, in both its strong and weak forms, is waxing as a useful contributor to cosmological studies. Here I will discuss recent developments, including comparing theoretical predictions with the range of cosmic lensing measurements from the Dark Energy Survey. I will describe tests of General Relativity afforded by lensing in combination with other probes, and will discuss the excellent prospects for cosmological and gravitational insights with forthcoming massive surveys.
