Abstract
Abstract: This lecture will refresh on the vital statistics of the pharmaceutical industry- its size and shape, its posture and stance. Drawing upon 21 years of experience in the industry and with academic collaborations, the second part of the lecture will spotlight future potential trends in industry and how academia/NHS needs to tool up to capitalise on these trends to benefit as UK PLC . In the final part, the very human elements which alongside good science forge good relationships will be exemplified.
