Nanopore sequencing of an ebola outbreak

Abstract
Josh will describe his recent work to monitor ebola in Guinea using the MinION Nanopore sequencer, and his experiences in taking the USB stick sized sequencer and all other lab equipment into the field in West Africa. Josh is a PhD student in Nick Loman’s lab at the University of Birmingham, and previously worked at Illumina.
