Abstract
This will be a fantastic seminar, highlighting some of Jukka’s recent work that exploits increasingly large pathogen genome datasets with creative and insightful analytical approaches. His group’s work has led to important discoveries into the evolution, resistance and transmission of bacteria and viruses. Jukka is starting a four-month term as a Visiting Fellow at Churchill College and here in the Department, working on infectious disease epidemiology and genomics, and so this seminar is the perfect opportunity to meet him and hear about his research. He is an engaging speaker, and not to be missed!
