Abstract
Using a case study of a large scale university development, this talk will explore what we can learn about resilience in socio-technical systems by talking to stakeholders from different domains and levels of abstraction. The study consisted of one-to-one interviews with stakeholders with a participatory system mapping exercise. The findings show that exploring multiple stakeholder perspectives can reveal new insights about resilience including: the relationship between resilience and stakeholder purpose; how time should be considered in the context of resilience; and the nature of change in a resilient system.
