Abstract
In this talk I will highlight with examples how bioinformatics can positively impact drug discovery and development in multiple therapeutic areas. The focus will mainly be on drug target selection and validation but other opportunities will also be mentioned. I will show how genetics, genomics or pathway information can be analysed but also how these large data sets can be managed and visualised. Scientific challenges will be discussed and ways of working with academia will be illustrated.
Series This talk is part of the Computational and Systems Biology series.
