Abstract
An Environmental Case for Nuclear Energy?
Thursday 15th March,

Stephen Stretton will put forward practical proposals to achieve a zero carbon economy including nuclear power, renewable energy where low cost, electric car energy storage, heat pumps, and the economic instruments to achieve zero carbon.
This will act as a kick off meeting for the Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy (www.ecolo.org) UK grouping. There will be an opportunity to get involved in the team to support a global publicity event later in the year on climate change and nuclear energy by Paul Lavelle, balloonist, polar explorer and architect of the successful 1989 trip to protect the ozone layer.
