Abstract
This talk will showcase Julia, a modern high-performance, dynamic language for technical computing. It will give an overview of the language and some of its many powerful features, including just-in-time (JIT) compilation, type system, and metaprogramming. I will also introduce some of the statistics and data analysis packages from Julia’s growing package ecosystem, as well as some of interoperability features with other languages.
