- 👤 Speaker: Craig Smith, University of Oxford

- 📍 Venue: CMS, MR15
Abstract
Classically, Tannaka-Krein duality answers the questions of whether an algebra (or compact topological group, affine group scheme, etc.) can be recovered from its category of linear representations, and of when a given category (with an appropriate fibre functor) is equivalent to such a category representations. In this talk I will outline a version of this theory and how to adapt it to study representation theory over (Ind)Banach spaces. This is based on joint work with Kobi Kremnizer.
Series This talk is part of the Junior Algebra and Number Theory seminar series.
