Abstract
Winton Advanced Research Fellow, Ottavio Croze will introduce the topic “Greening up the Cavendish and the University: the Maxwell Centre as a test case”
He will give a brief overview of how sustainable working practices can and should be easily improved in the research work place across the University. Many departments have already substantially improved the sustainability of their buildings and labs thanks to the efforts of dedicated Green Teams. He will introduce the Green Team in the Maxwell Centre. This will provide a test case for a more general discussion of sustainability in the research workplace, opening up a discussion to hear your thoughts.
All welcome to attend and light refreshments will be available.
