Abstract
In this talk I will present novel solutions in global AdS4, which are constructed by turning on a dipolar differential rotation at the conformal boundary. We find two different geometries: a horizonless AdS soliton, and a rotating black hole with zero net angular momentum. The large black hole branch has an extended hourglass shape, and exists up to a maximum amplitude of the boundary profile. At this value, there is an ergoregion attached to the boundary, signalling superradiant instability. I will discuss the phase diagram and implications for weak cosmic censorship.
