Abstract
Join us next Friday 5 May for a talk by Bede Sheppard, Deputy Director of the Children’s Rights Division of Human Rights Watch. He has conducted investigations and advocacy on a broad range of countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Japan, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, Ukraine, and Yemen. Prior to working at Human Rights Watch, Sheppard worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Croatia, and as an attorney with a Washington DC law firm, conducting field investigations into human rights abuses in Indonesia and South Africa.
