Abstract
Different ways of communication have been employed since the days of early animals. Up to this day, the art of communication is imperfect. That is why methods of efficient and effective communication over noisy mediums are investigated by the channel coding theory.
The audience will see examples of such methods and be introduced to a simple mathematical model of communication. Based on that model, a proof of an important universal bound on communication efficiency will be presented.
