Abstract
Sara MacLennan, Head of evidence and analysis at the WhatWorks Wellbeing Centre will talk about how the centre has developed policy and academic networks over the past two years particularly helping to build a ‘culture’ of evidence based policy as well as the mental health and wellbeing agenda within government. The seminar will explore the challenges of using evidence generated by RCTs within policy.
Whatworks centres are an independent collaborative centre that puts high quality evidence on wellbing into the hands of decision-makers in government, communities, businesses and other organisations. We bring pioneering thinkers together from across these sectors to share ideas and solutions. Our goal: to improve, and save, lives through better policy and practice for wellbeing.
