Abstract
The early Heroes of the Heliocentric Universe β Copernicus (1543) and Galileo (1632) β were pretty much entirely wrong about cosmology; in the case of Copernicus everyone knew it, in the case of Galileo nobody much cared. Kepler (1609) got it right and realised that that the issue was a new physics to explain the cosmos, but he was bat-sht insane. Moral of the story? Bat-sht insane is the way to go.
