The Quantum Computer Architecture and Theory seminar (QCAT seminar) is held every two weeks, typically Tuesdays at 11am. This is an interdisciplinary seminar organized by researchers in the Department of Computer Science and Technology and the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.

The seminar seeks talks on quantum computing theory and practice across the quantum computing stack. Topics include but are not limited to quantum computer architectures, quantum resource estimation, quantum compilation, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction. Talks should target 30 min length + 15 min post-talk time for discussion and Q&A, in-person, comprising eitherย slides or whiteboard presentations. As an interdepartmental effort, a good guideline is that the first half of each talk should be accessible to Part III or Masterโ€™s students.
