Abstract
The Cambridge University Energy Network (CUEN) is delighted to offer you the chance to get engaged with a less technical aspect of climate change within our second lecture. The theme is on a critical synthesis of information from the science and economics of climate change.
This is our inaugural set of annual lectures, and this session promises to be an interesting and engaging forum for debate. We are proud to host Dr. Chris Hope as our speaker.
Dr. Chris Hope is a University Reader in Policy Modelling at the Judge Business School. He builds integrated assessment models of the costs and impacts of policies to tackle climate change with the ultimate goal of improving public and private decision-making.
Chris Hope has been an advisor to the House of Lords into aspects of climate change economics, and a lead author and review editor for the third and fourth reports of the IPCC , which was awarded a half share of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
